Vita-Min (6 oz.) is our best-selling once-a-day 'herbal multivitamin' in fully absorbable tea form. These beautifully grown herbs bring deep nutrition and re-mineralization into the body, one sip at a time. This tea blend combines hormone-loving red clover (Trifolium pratense), uterus-tonifying red raspberry (Rubus idaeus), iron-laden nettle (Urtica dioica), soothing oatstraw (Avena sativa), silica-packed horsetail (Equisetum spp.), and refreshing mint (Mentha piperita).*

Our Vita-Min formula harnesses the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients found to be valuable in plants into one bioavailable blend and is the perfect combination to make into herbal teas or infusions.

For years, customers have been lovingly requesting a pregnancy tea swimming in nutrients. This is our humble offering to you! Vita-Min is perfectly appropriate for those in pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, post-partum, and nursing times, and is also a perfectly appropriate addition for anyone else.

*Note: please limit no more than 3 bags per order as stock and ingredients are low.

Is Vita-Min for women only - or is it okay for all genders?

Absolutely - there are no ingredients within Vita-Min that would be inappropriate for anyone. It's simply a nutritive blend of herbs for tea/infusion no matter who you are. Vita-Min is for all.

Is horsetail okay for pregnant or lactating people?

Traditional herbalism tells us that horsetail in small amounts taken at any time of life is beneficial due to its mineral content and overall nutrient density. Teas/tisanes are a mild dosage of any particular herb, and in Vita-Min, horsetail is approximately one-fifth of the formula, which we feel comfortable with for those who are pregnant or nursing. As always, if you have concerns about horsetail consumption, please consult your trusted healthcare provider.

How to Use:

To make a tea, steep 1-2 tsp of dried herb in a cup of boiled water for 15-30 minutes or to taste. Strain and enjoy with a bit of honey, if you wish.

To make a stronger nourishing herbal infusion, steep 1 oz (by weight) according to the instructions on the label. Place one ounce (about a cup) of dried herb into a quart mason jar. Fill it with boiling water, put a lid on it, and let it steep for 4-8 hours. If you like, you can add a pinch of mint or licorice root for flavor. Then strain out the plant material, compost it, and enjoy one or more cups of the liquid daily. Infusions are delicious warm or cold and can be sweetened with honey or any other natural sweetener. They keep for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Click here, here, and here for some fun videos on making nourishing herbal infusions.

Love my tea iced! Yummm

So refreshing and full of life and love! This is my go to tea for a healthy moon cycle. :) I keep the loose tea in a mason jar to keep it fresh. I feel hydrated and relaxed when I drink it, especially iced. Yum!

A Household Favorite

I love the smooth consistency and well-rounded taste of this tea. It works well warm or cold. I thought I'd be the only one drinking it in my house, but my son and husband love it too. We enjoy the nourishing effects and healthy nutrients from this wonderful blend. I've been keeping a Mason jar in the fridge, but it doesn't last long!

Good for all!

I bought this blend both to make it easier for myself to get daily nutrition at all times and as a way to make it easier for my kids to get vitamins and minerals. My young son took his first sip of this tea, to which I had added some honey, and declared it to be almost as good as sweet tea. He drank his whole glass of Vita-Min tea easily. Thank you for making it easier for folks of all ages to get the nutrition they need.
