NOTE: due to the labor-intensity of this harvest and its popularity, we are limiting red clover to no more than THREE bags per order. Thank you for understanding!
As a small family-driven, woman-owned company who has been in business for more than 25 years now, we strive for transparency and integrity in all that we do. Red clover, one of our most popular dried wildcrafted herbs, is one that we do our best to educate people about. It sells at a different price point than two of our other very popular dried herbs (oatstraw and nettles) and we wanted to explain why this is. We created this information sheet to do just that.
When you buy your red clover from us, you know exactly what you're getting and where your dollars are going.
How to Use:
- To make an herbal infusion, place one ounce (about a cup) of dried herb into a quart mason jar. Fill it with boiling water, put a lid on it, and let it steep for 4-8 hours. If you like, you can add a pinch of mint or licorice root for flavor. Then strain out the plant material, compost it, and enjoy one or more cups of the liquid daily. Infusions are delicious warm or cold and can be sweetened with honey or any other natural sweetener. They keep for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
