ChocoNut Ginger Berry (GOOD)Fat Bombs
Rev up your cold-weather circulation with this herbal twist on a coconut candy bar. These herbie holiday treats will delight even your skeptical friends and are good for you and your tastebuds.
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup coconut butter
1 cup unsweetened organic cocoa powder
6 tablespoons maple syrup (OR 1 tsp. liquid stevia extract)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and/OR 3 droppers Red Moon Herbs fresh ginger extract)
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (consider southern pecans, almonds or walnuts)
1/2 cup wild blueberries (or other fresh frozen fruit)
Melt all ingredients (except extract and berries) in a small pot on very low heat. Once melted, turn off heat and add extract and berries.
Oil or butter each miniature cupcake form (or use paper forms). Put 2/3 spoonfuls of chocolate mixture in cups. Refrigerate or freeze to set. Mmmmmmm enjoy - and relish those healthy, nourishing fats in the yummiest possible way!
